OCSA is looking for two long term residents to move in as early as June 1st, 2023 as well as short term residencies available throughout the year.
- Long Term Residency: 1-2 years, $800/month
- Short Term Residency: Monthly: $1000/month; Weekly: $300/week
Long Term Residency deadline is April 1st.
All finalists and applicants for residencies will be asked to participate in a Zoom interview. Deposit of 25% monthly rent is due at time of acceptance and will be returned at time of departure. Resident Artists will receive a background check before moving in provided by OCSA. Short Term Residency applications are always accepted, depending on availability.
All artists, couples and families are encouraged to apply!
Media can range from traditional arts, fine and folk arts, writing, music, with teaching skills preferred.

Studio and Living space is combined in one private “classroom” which is approximately 950 square feet. Rent for a “classroom” will include all utilities and Wi-Fi. Artists will have access to private communal bathroom and laundry facilities as well as a communal cafeteria for preparing meals, sauna and gym.
The communal nature of this residency program is designed for collaborations and the promotion of shared ideas and experiences. Artists will be asked to give a demonstration or teach in some capacity as a volunteer 1-2 hours a week with shared cleaning responsibilities of communal living spaces. Additional paid teaching opportunities will be available on a case-by-case basis. This residency is designed to give artists practical experience that will enhance their careers in a variety of ways. Whether teaching classes, giving presentations or exchanging ideas with the public, sharing our talents with others is the core of this residency program.
